There’s no doubt that this was a quality home in its heyday. It was definitely built to last. But the now dated finishes are looking tired and the style definitely showing its age. We liked the functionality and generous size of this kitchen, located at the front of the house. So, without reconfiguring the layout, we decided a complete facelift was in order.

Before

Laminate countertops, linoleum flooring and orange-cast woodgrain cabinetry create a real 60s vibe — exactly as it was meant to be when built. It’s evident that great care was taken in the original kitchen to align the woodgrain of the cabinets and drawers. Barely-there copper-toned hardware blends in with little contrast.
